Faculty of Architecture and Design, KMUTT as a recipient at Chao Phraya Surasakmontri Room Metropolitan Electricity Authority Ploenchit Office to represent Thailand in the international competition for research, design, and construction of energy-saving houses Solar Decathlon Europe 2021/2022 (SDE21/22)


MEA as an agency that aims to develop energy for the way of life of metropolitan cities. Foreseeing the importance of developing and extending research, design, and construction of energy-saving houses that KMUTT teams have been selected as 1 of 18 teams to participate in the SDE21/22 competition in Wupper. rthal Germany this time, in addition to the integration of knowledge and practical skills of the participants It also shows the potential of Thailand to be evident at the international level as well.

The SDE21/22 competition is organized by the US Department of Energy Solar Decathlon. It's a design competition and construction of houses using solar energy energy saving and can actually live. The KMUTT team competed in such programs in 2019 and has been able to win 4 prizes. The competition in 2021 has a project period from January 2, 2020 to December 30, 2021.
